The working principle of general safety valves
A safety valve is an automatic valve that mainly opens and closes automatically through springs or heavy hammers and pressure. When the medium exceeds the pressure, the safety valve automatically opens to discharge the rated amount of fluid to reduce the pressure in the pipeline or storage tank. When the pressure returns to the normal set value, the safety valve automatically closes and prevents the medium from flowing out through its own spring elasticity. Safety valves are important protective equipment for pressure vessels and process systems, and are widely used in pipeline installations and equipment in industries such as aerospace, petrochemicals, energy, pharmaceuticals, metallurgy, etc. Due to the direct relationship between the performance and reliability of safety valves and the safe and stable operation of the device, it is necessary to strictly comply with relevant national GB standards in design, material selection, manufacturing, testing, etc. Foreign users need to implement strict quality management systems throughout the production process, such as API and ASME standards in the United States, JIS standards in Japan, DIN standards in Germany, etc.
In order to meet the requirements of various industries in China for safety valves with foreign standards and advanced levels, since the 1980s, many well-known enterprises in China have developed pilot operated safety valves and switching safety valves after successfully developing ordinary safety valves. While meeting the needs of the domestic market, we are gradually exporting to the Middle East, the United States, Europe, Russia, and other global markets.
