Working principle and pressure of spring type safety valve
Working principle and pressure of spring type safety valve:
Spring type safety valve relies on the force of the spring to press the valve core onto the valve seat, keeping the safety valve in a closed state. The lower part of the valve core is subjected to the upward force of steam. During normal operation, the downward compression force of the spring is greater than the upward thrust of the steam, and the valve is in the closed state. When the steam pressure reaches the lifting pressure of the safety valve, the force of steam on the valve core is greater than the force of the spring, causing the valve core to lift up and the safety valve to exhaust steam. By adjusting the tightness of the spring through the adjusting screw on the upper part of the valve stem, the starting pressure of the safety valve can be adjusted. The main safety valve product names of China Safety Valve Network
include:Main Safety Valve,Spring Fall Lift Safety Valve,Spring Low Lift Safety Valve ,Pulse Safety Valve,Pilot Safety Valve,Pressure Safety Valve,Air Compressor Safety Valve,Bellows Spring Fall Lift Safety Valve
1. Safety valve set pressure
The inlet static pressure at which the safety valve disc begins to rise under operating conditions. Under this pressure, there begins to be a measurable opening height, and the fluid is in a continuous discharge state that can be perceived visually or audibly. Also known as opening pressure or setting pressure.
2. Maximum calibrated blasting pressure
The same batch of bursting discs shall undergo bursting tests at a certain temperature. If the product is qualified, the maximum bursting pressure obtained from the test shall be the maximum calibrated bursting pressure of this batch of bursting discs.
3. Maximum release pressure
The maximum inlet pressure when the relief state of the safety valve reaches the specified opening height of the valve disc. The maximum release pressure of the bursting disc device is the maximum pressure in the release state.
4. One or more devices (containers) with valves at both ends that can be isolated from other systems, connected by corresponding piping systems, and without valve isolation in the middle, can be considered as an independent pressure system.
