(l) Regardless of the operating conditions, it is necessary to regularly maintain the cleanliness of the safety valve to prevent the valve body spring and other components from Safety Valve Products being filled or corroded by oil and dirt, and to prevent the safety valve discharge outlet or pipeline outlet from being blocked by oil or other foreign objects; Regularly check whether the lead seal is intact to prevent the fixing screw of the heavy hammer of the lever type safety valve from loosening and causing the heavy hammer to move, and to prevent the adjusting screw of the spring type safety valve from not being turned arbitrarily, which may cause the set value to not meet production requirements.
(2) When signs of leakage are found in the safety valve, it should be replaced or repaired in a timely manner. Leakage can generally be seen or heard. It is prohibited to eliminate leakage by increasing the load (such as excessively tightening the adjusting screw of the spring type safety valve or hanging heavy objects on the lever of the lever type safety valve). To prevent the valve disc and seat from being stuck by dirt such as oil in the gas, which may cause the safety valve to fail to open properly, safety valves used for air, steam, or other gases with viscous dirt that do not pose a hazard to emissions should undergo regular handheld emission tests to test whether the safety valve is operating normally.
(3) To maintain the sensitivity and reliability of the safety valve, regular calibration should be conducted at least once a year. The content of regular verification generally includes dynamic inspection and disassembly inspection. The main content of dynamic inspection is to check the opening pressure, reseating pressure, sealing degree, and opening height of the safety valve under rated discharge pressure, etc. The requirements are the same as those during safety valve commissioning. If the dynamic inspection is not qualified, or if abnormal situations such as leakage are found during operation, disassembly inspection should be carried out. After disassembly, carefully inspect all components of the safety valve for cracks, scars, wear, corrosion, deformation, etc., and repair or replace them according to the size and degree of damage of the defects. Finally, assemble and perform dynamic inspection.
